Abstract
What mysteries lie hidden in the arts of Japan? We, as Westerners, are even more being drawn closer to the Japanese and other Oriental arts. If an object is marked, "Made in Japan," we usually grimace, and the object is replaced to it original position without purchase. Since World War II, the influx of fine and minor arts (meaning utensils or furniture) are entering our vistas, and the study of Japanese art history is slowly reaching our universities and our galleries.
