Exploring Geometry Using Cabri Jr. App.

Abstract

This is a hands-on session and an introduction to Cabri Jr. Participants will learn basic commands in using Cabri Jr. as well as explore basic geometric constructions and relationships. The activities in this session are designed to engage students in discovering geometric relationships and making mathematical connections. Topics that will be covered include lines, angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, transformations and geometric relationships. The goal of this session is to orient teachers how to use Cabri Jr. App in enriching the teaching of geometry in their classrooms.
