Abstract

This project aims to make use of publicly available codes being put out by quantum companies. A company with offices in Illinois, Infleqtion, is offering to allow us to run ten free real quantum experiments per day! IBM (Qiskit), QuEra (Bloqade), and Infleqtion (Oqtant) all have python libraries allowing simulations of quantum systems. Initially our efforts will focus on exploring the openly available systems and libraries, before ultimately choosing one to study in depth, with a goal of working towards greater understanding of how the hardware works and the quantum physics is behind that.
