Description

The centerpiece of any Maulidi ya Rama ceremony is a miniature mosque called a kinara that is decorated with fresh jasmine flowers. Burning incense (udi) and rose water (mirashi) passed among participants for purification adds additional fragrance to the ceremony and enhances its ritual efficacy.
