Evelyn Cornelius Lantz, Class of 1941

Evelyn Cornelius Lantz (1918-2011) graduated from Clayton High School, Illinois and went on to study nursing in the Brokaw School of Nursing at Illinois Wesleyan University. She graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1941 and went on to pursue graduate work at the University of Chicago, Department of Nursing Education. She was employed as a staff nurse, Brokaw Hospital; Instructor Brokaw School of Nursing; and Director of the Cadet Nurse Corp at the school. She also served as a nurse for the McLean County Cancer Clinic and was a member of the Brokaw Alumni Association and the Illinois Wesleyan University Alumni.
