Description
The festival was founded in 1991 by the late Corine Sims and her husband, the Rev. James Sims, with Illinois Wesleyan University and the United Community Gospel Singers as co-founders. The event for 2016 featured performances by some of the area’s leading gospel groups. Pictured is IWU President, Eric Jensen with Barbara Sims-Malone, the daughter of the Rev. James and Corine Sims and the executive director of the United Community Gospel Singers.
