Kris Condon, 1984 Illinois Wesleyan graduate and 2014 alumni Loyalty Award Winner, gave a Back to College Class during Homecoming on Oct. 17, 2014.

Abstract

In June 2013, Kankakee Community College was one of two community colleges selected, for the first time, to participate in the United States Supreme Court Summer Institute for Teachers in Washington, D.C. For 5 days Kris learned about the Supreme Court's inner workings and how the Institute is extending its influence on civics education to the community college. Learn about the issues facing us as we teach our students to be more civically engaged in this interactive presentation.
