Abstract
If you think eating without utensils is challenging, consider the problems of capturing food without being able to grab it at all. Yet, somehow small aquatic invertebrate animals can collect food in ways that are foreign to us. We will explore how aquatic invertebrates collect food particles that are scarce, tiny or essentially "invisible."
