Illinois Wesleyan University Athletic Director Mike Wagner spoke in a Back to College Class on Friday, Oct. 9 during Homecoming 2015.

Abstract

In the forefront of the news is the success of the student-athletes at IWU on the field of play. Successes in the classroom, in the community and in the lives of others may not be reported as frequently or as strongly, but are no less important than the wins recorded on a scoreboard. As our newly appointed Athletic Director, Wagner talked about these off-field successes and how athletics and academia work together to develop and define the character and inner drive of our student-athletes.
