Abstract
Alumna Marjorie "Ocho" Kouns '79 will discuss her journey as the voice of several characters in the children's cartoon Dora the Explorer, which reaches countries around the globe. Kouns is also an acclaimed artist-in-residence, living in New York and Shreveport, La., whose latest public art work "Shades of Shreveport" will light up the IWU Robert S. Eckley Quadrangle during Homecoming.
