Award Description
A board-certified pediatrician, she established a new office on student health and wellness. During her tenure, CPS became the first large urban school district to put undesignated epinephrine auto-injectors in each school for emergency use. Prior to joining CPS, Stephanie served as the Medical Director of Mobile C.A.R.E. Foundation in Chicago, caring for children with asthma via a mobile medical platform. Stephanie currently serves as a Medical Director for Aetna Better Health of Illinois and is an assistant clinical professor at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. In 2013, she received the “Distinguished Alumnus Award” from the Chicago Medical School. Stephanie lives in Chicago with her husband, Dr. Mark Williams, son Mark and daughter Madison.
