Course Catalog Description

A research-based course that explores fundamental concepts in development, physiology, and life history characteristics of animals by analyzing primary literature and conducting experiments. Students explore model systems in animal biology through in-depth study of a few species of animal. Students also have the opportunity to design and complete their own research projects. Offered in alternate years, spring semester.
