Course Catalog Description

An in-depth study of the physical and chemical characteristics of streams, and how those properties shape stream ecosystems. We will take a theory-centered approach to learning about stream systems and the ways in which humans have altered stream systems. Special emphasis will be placed on comparing temperate and tropical systems. Offered occasionally.
