Course Catalog Description

Artificial intelligence is, broadly, the study of computational solutions to difficult real-world problems - problems whose solutions might be considered to involve "intelligence." Applications range from self-driving cars to intelligent personal agents to challenging routing/scheduling problems. Topics include Bayesian inference, constraint satisfaction, game playing, logic, machine learning, Markov decision processes, and heuristic search. Prerequisites: CS 128, MATH/CS 135, and MATH/CS 136.
