Abstract

This event took place on October 14, 2000 and recognizes the completion of the formal entry point to Illinois Wesleyan's campus on the corner of Empire (Rte. 9) and Park St. The columns used to create this entry originally stood at the Main building of Hedding College in Abingdon, IL. President Minor Myers, jr. recognizes the Harlan, Jr. and Tom, children of Harlan and Bobbie Bloomer, and other family members at this event.
