Abstract

Willie Brown opens the event by describing the Associates as people who help students in McLean County who want to attend IWU. He then introduces Senior Jessie Magenheimer, a current student who speaks on the importance of fundraising events such as this one. Brown then introduces Acting President Janet McNew, who speaks on the many attributes of IWU students and contributions to the community; and Joe Buck speak during this event. Buck is an announcer for the Saint Louis Cardinals starting in 1991 and is currently at Fox Sports; he was an announcer as early as when he was an undergraduate at Indiana State University. He is the son of Jack Buck.
