International & Global Studies offers students the opportunity to explore the relationships between global problems and local experiences. As international entities have become increasingly dependent upon one another regardless of geography and nationality, global issues have become a major part of nearly every area of study. The International & Global Studies Program is especially charged with advancing Illinois Wesleyan University's educational mission of preparing students for democratic citizenship and life in a global society.
