Abstract

We introduce a class of matrices known as Riordan arrays. The Riordan arrays form a group referred as the Riordan group. We discuss the Lie algebraic structure of the Riordan group. In addition, we study the construction and combinatorial interpretations of stabilizers and centralizers of Riordan groups. In particular, we give examples of stabilizers and centralizers in Appel, Lagrange, and Stochastic subgroups.
