Concepts including population-based tools for evaluation and promoting health, trends in mortality and burden of disease, health disparities among vulnerable groups, and strengths or limitations of U.S. healthcare and public health systems. Lessons from past, current and emerging public health issues will be examined. Offered at least annually.
