Abstract
Muneerah Maalik, Sociology, Class of 2000, discusses her current work with Columbia College in Chicago and the IWU Minority Alumni Network. The Muslim Student Association was formed after she left, but she recalls activities with other Muslim students and talks about the atmosphere for Muslims on campus generally. She mentions being one of only two African-American Muslim students on campus and living with other Muslim students in the International House.
