Abstract
Oral History Interview with Quinton Snook, student of IWU in 1941 & 1942, resident of Bloomington area, president and chairmen of the board of the Thomas Jefferson Life Insurance Company. He talks to an unidentified interviewer about how he chose IWU, the effects that the Great Depression had on him, and his business interests in life insurance and real estate. He took summer classes, hoping to complete his degree before enlisting in the Army in World Ward II. He discusses his training and further studies at Illinois State to get his pilot's license but was discharged nine months later due to an injury. (summary of the first 9 mins)
