Abstract

Lehman is a Senior in the School of Nursing and speaks of the importance of a liberal arts background to her chosen profession and to her development as a person. She also highlights her involvement on Student Senate and the ways that professional schools are part of the Illinois Wesleyan community as a whole. She describes the broad range of clinical settings she's had as part of the curriculum and the travel opportunities that are available. She closes her remarks with a reflection on the importance of self-evaluation she's done in consultation with a faculty member.
