Abstract
Civil rights activist, poet and award-winning author Maya Angelou gave a public presentation at the Shirk Center on November 15, 1996. This recording contains only a fragment of her visit and Angelou's remarks end abruptly as they were found in the original.
During her time on campus she also visited English classes that were reading her works.
