This interview took place during a Connecticut College show called "The Big Juicy Orange" with Rich Zeitlin. Vayo was Assistant Professor of Music at Connecticut College from 1988-1991.

This recording was digitized from a cassette tape by Scene Savers in January 2023. The tape is undated but would have been broadcast around fall of 1990, based on some of the compositions/performances mentioned in it.
