Abstract
IWU President Georgia Nugent discusses comments from students and alumni that the university did not go far enough to address calls for racial justice after the death of George Floyd. “I want to apologize, I understand, I truly understand that the statement made by the university didn’t go far enough and wasn’t clear enough,” she said in an interview with WGLT’s Eric Stock.
