Louis A. "Bud" Berner '45 was given the Loyalty Award for his volunteer phonothon efforts on behalf of the President's Club and The Wesleyan Fund. Berner and his wife, Ginger, are long-time members of the President's Club, and he has been a board member since 1977. He is president of Bemer Plumbing and Heating Company, a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon and an avid supporter and fan of Titan athletics.
