Course Catalog Description

This course provides students with an appreciation for the lives of plants - how they develop, grow, reproduce, interact with one another, interact with non-plants, and interact with their environments. Taught in "studio" format (integrated lecture and lab), it considers plants on the windowsill, in the garden, and in the environment. This course is intended for non-majors; it will not fulfill any requirements toward a major or minor in Biology. Offered spring semesters.
