Course Catalog Description

This course explores cellular function and processes from a molecular perspective, including motility, signaling, gene expression, protein sorting, bioenergetics, support/connectivity, division, and apoptosis. Prerequisites: BIOL 101 and 102 (or BIOL 107 and 108), and one year of chemistry. This course satisfies the Cellular or Molecular Biology requirement for the Biology major. Offered occasionally.
