Course Catalog Description

A survey of the construction of animal body plans at the tissue and organismal levels of organization. Both observational and experimental approaches used in this field of study will be presented. Emphasis on vertebrate embryology, including human development. Lab activities include conducting experiments using live specimens and histological analysis of prepared materials. Four hours of lecture and four hours of laboratory per week. Offered each spring.
