Jerry Israel

Publication Date

Comments

The original recording (three sides of two cassettes) is undated but Israel mentions having only been on campus a comparatively short time and being surprised at the announcement that he will receive the teaching award, then known as the Century Club Award, so the estimated date is 1981. He also cites his Honors Day 1975 speech. Records related to those two events are available at digitalcommons.iwu.edu/teaching_excellence/65 and digitalcommons.iwu.edu/teaching_excellence/43

Transferred from two cassettes Fall 2018; edited only as necessary to create a single file containing all recorded parts.
