Broadcaster Denny Matthews, Illinois Wesleyan class of 1966 graduate and 2016 Distinguished Alumnus, presented this Back to College Class as part of Homecoming activities.

Abstract

Denny Matthews, the "voice" of the Kansas City Royals, told the stories of how his days at Illinois Wesleyan led to 48 years of broadcasting in Major League Baseball and to his 2007 induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
