Award Description
William A. '57 and Eleanor Pray Meister '57 Enthusiastic supporters of Wesleyan for years, Bill and Ellie have assisted the Admissions Office by counseling prospective students, participating in the Chairman/Agent program (Ellie), serving on the Alumni Council (Bill), and co-chairing the Chicago Wesleyan Fund phonothons for three consecutive years. Bill is a manufacturer's representative for Pennsylvania House Furniture, and Ellie is an interior designer and specialist for new chapter development for the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. They are charter members of the Chicago Wesleyan Associates and have generously opened their home as hosts of appreciation events for Chicago-area IWU volunteers, have recruited phonothon callers, and have taken leadership roles in Chicago Wesleyan Connection events.
